About

Hey, I’m Ivory—middle school computer science teacher by day, history nerd and STEAM enthusiast always. Right now, I’m deep in the trenches studying for a few big certification exams (U.S. History, World History, and Professional Teaching Knowledge), and this blog is my way of staying on track, reflecting out loud, and maybe helping someone else along the way.

I’ve spent the past few years bringing STEAM programs to life for kids—in classrooms, museums, and after-school spaces. I love building things, breaking them, figuring out how they work, and helping young people do the same. Whether I’m teaching loops and variables or unpacking a historical turning point, I’m all about sparking curiosity and creativity.

This space is part study journal, part teaching diary, and part playground for big ideas. Glad you’re here.
